process for students 5th – 12th grades.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
This person needs to be centered with a strong Christian faith and filled with integrity. This person must have a passion for the Mission Statement and 7 Essentials of The Bridge. This person needs to be a team player, ready to work together for the good of the church family, and be able to receive critical feedback. This person must have a servant heart, willing to serve the needs of the church community. This person needs to be a catalyst for utilizing the gifts and talents of ‘others.’
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

10-15 hours per week (increasing hours as the ministry grows).
ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUPPORT
*Be directly accountable to and receive support from the Lead Pastor, Operator for Youth Discipleship, and the team of Overseers. Overall accountability to the BOO (Bridge Operators and Overseers) Team.

7 GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
FOR ALL BRIDGE STAFF
To conduct oneself in a way that honors Jesus whether at home, on campus, in the community, at bridge events or participating with an online community.
Take responsibility for personal spiritual growth with spiritual disciplines of the Word, including: worship/gathering, prayer/fasting, service and tithing.
Work toward the Kingdom goal of being and making disciples – be one, make one – and focus on the main/overall goal of walking with people through intentional discipleship.
Always seek for ways to multiply oneself and lead others into ministry with proper oversight using the “Jesus method.”
Be involved with and/or lead a Life Group. This is an organic and purpose-filled part of who we are: teams built in all areas of ministry.
Be present and engaged at all set prayer times, Monday staff meetings, Upper Room Prayer, leadership trainings, Sunday mornings and other major events as set by Leadership.
Look to approach all things with a positive and encouraging attitude, love your co-workers with forgiveness, courage and gentleness, and contribute to a fun and creative environment for the good of all.
