Job Description:

The Vanderbloemen Search Group helps growing churches and ministries find great staff. Vanderbloemen is a retained executive search firm, serving churches and Christian organizations in all parts of the United States and internationally. The firm has condensed its multiple locations across the United States into one central office in the heart of Houston. Our clients come from over 50 different denominations or types of churches, as well as Christian non-profits and relief organizations. Churches such as Lifechurch.tv, Potential Church, Willow Creek, Mars Hill (Grand Rapids), Harvest Bible Chapel, Cross Church, and Peachtree Presbyterian are representative of those choosing to retain Vanderbloemen to help find key staff. The firm represents churches ranging in attendance from 300 to over 30,000.

While Vanderbloemen can staff any position at any size church, the bulk of our work is made up of searches for senior level staff. Searches involving Senior Pastor succession are an area of particular expertise. In addition to search work, the firm also provides services in staff consulting, succession planning, and compensation analysis. Growth at Vanderbloemen has been both rapid and sustained. Future growth is anticipated and planned for.

Vanderbloemen Search Group is seeking a Candidate Relations Associate that will have special emphasis on proactive and systematic research. All Candidate Relations Team (CRT) members have extensive interaction with candidates on a daily basis, however, the nature of the interaction this position will have is more recruiting in nature. This CRT member will be responsible for locating and contacting potential candidates in a recruiting capacity. They will also conduct interviews and assist with candidate development through the search process. They will help the CRT maintain Vanderbloemen's presence online, as well as making meaningful connections with thought leaders and other potential sources of qualified candidates.

The new Candidate Relations Associate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a systematic worker. The successful candidate will likely have experience working or volunteering in a church or para-church ministry.  Proven experience in creative thinking, problem solving, and organizational development are needed. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required and seminary training is a plus but not required.
