Spirit 105.9 in Austin, Texas, one of the fastest growing Contemporary Christian music radio stations in America. Spirit 105.9 is a part of CRISTA Ministries, a family of ministries that serve people worldwide through education, camps, international relief and development, senior care and media. We work together as one under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to serve others. Our identity in Christ is the foundation from which we live out our faith in vocation. SPIRIT1059 is searching for a Part Time Board Operator to operate the KFMK board. The Board Operator must be personable on the air. This position will have general knowledge of the following essential equipment to be used: microphones, broadcast boards, telephone recording systems, commercial voicing software and audio delivery systems. The Board Operator must be able to employ the directives of the Program Director in order to achieve the station’s overall ratings goals.

Who you are:

A Board Operator who lives outside the comfort zone to inspire others through your passion for your faith and profession. Known as fast, fun, personable and organized and operates the KFMK board during Voice Track talent shifts, remote broadcasts and other special events. Knows how to operate microphones, broadcast boards, telephone recording systems, commercial voicing software and audio delivery systems. Loves working at a Large Market Radio station where Christian faith and vocation coexist.

CRISTA Ministries Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
