CRISTA Ministries. "Where faith meets vocation." KFMK Spirit 1059 Austin is renowned for its programming excellence in Contemporary Christian Music. We are launching a search for the next great Program Director to lead KFMK SPIRIT 105.9. The KFMK Program Director oversees the on-air and online presentation of the radio station, and all the logistics and programming elements that lend to an excellent radio product that attracts station’s target audience. This position requires a high level of professional expertise in audience research, music selection and rotation, station imaging, coaching radio talent, mastery of radio broadcast studio equipment, collaboration with other departments (Marketing and Promotions, Sales, Engineering, and Digital), and mastery of radio programming fundamentals and radio software programs. The KFMK Program Director is expected to achieve Nielsen PPM rating goals set forth by management, as well as maximizing ministry impact in the Austin community and with listeners, using available programming tools, personnel and station resources. The KFMK Program Director is required to have a solid understanding of FCC rules pertaining to radio broadcasting and is responsible to ensure all aspects of programming are in compliance with FCC rules and regulations.

CRISTA Ministries Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
