Oversee and ensure the development and implementation of Stone Oak Church’s mission and vision, developing them to achieve effective results as defined. Manage event-to-event activities and make decisions as per the policy framework and guidelines laid down by Stone Oak Church.

Position Overview: The Mission Director will organize, lead, and coordinate the Saturday events.
Be the primary leader for monthly church/community events, providing direct oversight for events. The Mission Director will oversee a biblical teaching of moral rules to kids. Game time is important for monthly events and outreach. Will provide spiritual direction, biblical care, and discipleship for a path to know Jesus. Will provide oversight to a diverse team of volunteers, planning and executing a schedule for the event.
Be responsible for developing mission outreach events (in cooperation with the Senior Pastor and other leaders of Stone Oak Church Committees) that are God-focused and gospel-oriented, complementing the Mission and Vision Statement of Stone Oak Church.
Organize, schedule, lead, and develop teams (skill & heart), focusing on Jesus’ discipleship and care for volunteers.
Cultivate spiritual depth by intentionally introducing new ideas and strategically utilizing methods to implement them as a goal.
The Mission Director Candidate Is:
Spiritually mature (a growing person and disciple of Jesus).
Biblically adept (a person who knows the Bible and the God who inspired it).
Well-read and well-spoken (a person who continues to learn and share learnings).
A person of Christian character (a godly person who is pursuing to be a Jesus’ disciple a whole life).
Pastorally sensitive (a shepherd who cares for others in their questions, joy, and struggles).
Discipleship-oriented (a person who is dedicated to leading others to Christ).
Musically gifted – desirable.
Experience (preferably a person who has at least 3 years of experience in such area and ministry education by way of mentorship, formal education, or the equivalent in ministry hours – however, this is not a condition).
Faithful, available, and teachable.
