Digital Content Creator

Salem Surround, a subsidiary of Salem Media Group, is seeking a creative and skilled digital content writer to produce engaging and SEO-optimized content for SalemSurround.com. This role involves crafting compelling site landing pages, informative articles, and persuasive marketing materials that align with Salem Surround's mission of providing integrated marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging content to enhance brand visibility and engagement.  This position is based in the US and open to remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality content for SalemSurround.com, reflecting our integrated marketing solutions such as digital advertising and social media marketing.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in all content pieces.
• Optimize content for search engines to increase online visibility and drive traffic.
• Use analytics to track content performance and make data-driven improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends to ensure content relevance and freshness.
• Update and maintain Salem Surround’s social media presence.
• Create and send weekly email newsletters.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for digital marketing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of or experience with social media management (Facebook, X).
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
